What’s up?

I'm Tina, a foul-mouthed, no-bullsh*t creative type presenting as a smiley, Midwestern, Asian mom. And even after many, many (too many) years in the biz, "solving it" still excites me, from strategic concepting at 3500 ft. to getting fully in the dirt.

Beyond making ads, the craft of authentic storytelling — either with words or without — has always fascinated me. Anything has the potential to tell a good story. A home. A hair style. And yes, even a brand. A good story, when told in just the right way, can stir up curiosity, make you laugh, punch you in the gut, and everything in between. And when it's done well…well, it's magic.

As a seasoned creative who’s worked on iconic brands at agencies all over Chicago, NYC, and now from various rooms of my house (thank you, pandemic), I've become a ninja at cracking complex briefs, moving at the speed of culture, and collaborating with all sorts of personalities.

In other words, I can hit the ground running.

And yes, over the years I’ve worked on some "sexy" brands at some big-name shops, and racked up a few awards. All fine and good, but at the end of the day, making stuff that resonates with folks is the real goal (and in turn, will be what gets them to champion your brand. Amirite?). If you agree, let’s make some magic together.
