Nike Field Reporter

Agency: R/GA NY
Role: Program Concept, Copywriting (Website, Videos, Online + Offline Ads)

Imagine one lucky, sports-loving gal getting to volley one-liners with Serena Williams. Or challenge Michelle Wie to a game of Nintendo Wii. Enter the Nike Field Reporter, an online program birthed by me and my team at R/GA. With a little help from icons in women’s sports, we invited Nike Women fans to apply for the “Coolest. Job. Ever.” — a roving correspondent who jetsetted cross-country, interviewing and training with elite athletes the likes of Serena and LeBron. Our little Nike Field Reporter feature was so successful, it ended up running for five years. (Fun fact: a couple of our Nike Field Reporters even went on to land jobs at ESPN.)
